"Mold Farm"

"Mold Farm" is a set of 12 dishes designed for growing mold. The special texture on the bottom of the bowls makes it easy for mold to grow, and the rounded, high edges keep it in the dish. My project is an artifact of modern witch, which for me is a lady working in a local grocery store. The saleswoman knows everything about everyone, she is the local "information trader". Mold, in my work, symbolizes gossip that is spread - cultivated.
